About me

I am a researcher specialized in Neuroscience, with a strong background in cerebral ischemia, neurodegenerative diseases, neuroinflammation, and microglial cells. My research career is focused in understanding the mechanisms underlying neuronal death in pathological conditions, and the role of microglia in health and disease, with the aim to develop more effective therapeutic strategies.

Currently I’m th research and technical operator of the SIMOA equipment of ACHUCARRO, part of the Platform of Biomarkers.
