About me

Tatiana started her scientific career in the laboratory of Dr. Juan Botas at Baylor college of medicine, Houston (Texas) in 2011 as a research assistant, working with Drosophila as an animal model of neurodegenerative diseases.  She completed her PhD in neuroscience working on an evolutionary perspective of the vertebrate nervous system using the lizard Pogona vitticeps as an animal model in the group of Dr. Gilles Laurent at the MPI for Brain research (Frankfurt).

Since 2022 she is part of Garcia-Moreno‘s group where she develops her career as a postdoc.
