February 11
We launched our first celebration of February 11th, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science in 2017, since then, we are actively involved in this celebration in the Basque Country.
[2024] We celebrated our 8th anniversary of February 11th, together with the Emakumeak Zientzian movement.
As from 2023, we joined forces with the initiative Emakumeak Zientzian, and extended the movement from Gipuzkoa to Bizkaia.
[2022] An online event with 5+1 neuroscientists sharing the insides of their lives and careers.
[2021] During the pandemic, we created an online campaign, with video.
[2020] Just before the pandemic, more outeach with school students.
[2019] Visits to schools, and reception of students in our premises.
[2018] Open lecture by women scientists, following the call of the Spanish Society for Neurosciences.
[2017] We organised an “Open Lab” workshop in Bilbao, in collaboration with Happygune.
