ACHUCARRO joins the celebration of the 9th edition of Emakumeak Zientzian

The Emakumeak Zientzian 2025 programme will focus on the week of 7 to 14 February. An extensive programme of more than 60 activities has been designed, covering the entire territory of the Basque Country to highlight how small collective actions, persistent over time, generate a transformative impact.
We launched our first celebration of February 11th, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science in 2017, since then, we are actively involved in this celebration in the Basque Country.
In 2023 we joined forces with the initiative that was initially conceived in Donostia – San Sebastián, and for the last 3 years we have collaborated in the coordination group.
Regarding our activities for this edition, we will receive the visit of 3 schools in our facilities, our researchers will go to educational centers to explain their work and we will also receive the visit of older women.
