A former and honorary member of our International Scientific Advisory Committee
Professor Geoffrey Burnstock (born in 10 May 1929) died on 2nd June, 2020 in Melbourne (Australia), following a short illness.
Geoff Burnstock was appointment for the first International Scientific Advisory Committee of ACHUCARRO in 2012.
He visited Bilbao in 2015, for the first plenary meeting of the Committee, and contributed to the strategic lines of the centre. Prof. Burnstock was always enthusiastic with the research programme of ACHUCARRO and supported us worldwide.
We will miss him. Agur eta ohore, lagun.
